No permits? to put waste into our wetlands, dig drainage ditches, add fill, shoot clay pigeons into our wetlands and streams, that i believe contains tar, shoot lead over into our forest into the streams, ect, etc and even burn tires. this to me is a serious crime

Thank you for your Comment, This range is Misbehaving. This is a clean water act issue and a migratory Bird Act issue. This Range belongs to the state of Tennessee and Is Built over the wetlands, Watershed, Limestone creeks, Ponds and Riverbeds, They are really being bad bad Boys. The State has deep Pockets and Surly should no the laws.

Actually I was mistaken. Looks like your local range may be misbehaving. Most I have dealt with were trying to extort ranges. I just jumped to a conclusion out of reflex and I was wrong for that. My local range was shut down for 3 years and spent over 100k defending a frivolous lawsuit that they eventually proved had no grounds. Your circumstances seems to have merit.

The lead is inert unless the ph is off. That is the only time you have to worry about leaching. According to the EPA, lead is only an issue if it makes it into your ground water and is consumed. Being near it has no effect. However, they need to keep the lead contained before leaving the property. The spot leaving the grounds is called a pointsource and minimal steps can prevent all of this. You create a basin to collect the lead, and depending on volume you remove the lead under OSHA approved circumstances. You can find out more by reading "Lead mobility at Shooting Ranges" but a warning it reads like what you think. There is even a program from the NSSF where they will help clubs establish a plan according to the EPA and OSHA and make sure everything is how it should be.

Its coming clear to us why the trail was never finished at the bottom of the range, WOW that could be why the lumber was left in the woods, along with the tools.And the logs with the notches in them thats in the streams of running water.
